Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Sausage Mixture

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, salt, black pepper, sage, thyme, fennel seeds, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add maple syrup (if using) and mix until well combined.

Step 2: Shape the Patties

  1. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into small patties, about ½-inch thick.

Step 3: Cook the Sausages

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place the sausage patties in the pan, making sure they don’t touch.
